Voting and Elections

Longford County Council is responsible for the preparation of the Register of Electors for the whole of County Longford.  The County is divided into three Electoral Areas, as follows:

• Longford Municipal District
• Ballymahon Municipal District
• Granard Municipal District

Only persons whose names appear on the Register will be entitled to vote. The Register of Electors is available for inspection online at checktheregister.ie
