Voting and Elections

Longford County Council is responsible for the preparation of the Register of Electors for the whole of County Longford. The County is divided into three Local Electoral Areas (LEA): Longford LEA, Ballymahon LEA, and Granard LEA. 

Only persons whose names appear on the Register will be entitled to vote.
